WHAT'S THE MISSION?

To inspire and guide our jewellers in the A&M workshop, allowing every team member to grow and develop their craft and learn new skills. 

What is the workshop?

The workshop will be a central hub for making our personalisation programmes based in London. Our mission is to optimise the quality, efficiency and development of our personalisation programmes, while serving as a central hub for learning and development in line with the A&M standards of craftsmanship.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

Jewellery Production

• Lead in the assembly of our Story Chain offering in 9ct Gold
• Agile in approach and able to work to set deadlines, whilst inspiring others to do the same
• Capable of following order guidelines and communicating with the Production Admin Assistant regarding workflow or roadblocks.
• Encourage efficient execution of production and team growth by recording timings for assembly.
• Adaptable to new program offerings as we expand and grow.
• Facilitate repairs and replating where necessary.

Maintaining Quality Standards

• Lead the implementation of the A&M quality standards, suggesting improvements where needed.
• Able to lead and guide on polishing to a high standard
• Continuously support the jewellers in delivering the best standard of work
• Possess strong technical understanding of the jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Suggest improvements and break boundaries in terms of the production of new and existing programs.

Mentoring

• Guide all jewellers on the A&M workshop procedures & standards
• Support the growth of our jewellers through regular training sessions, developing and evolving problem solving skills.
• Assist the Workshop/Production Manager when required in their daily duties
• Ensure all team members are safe at all times, both through the use of equipment and the diligent storage of stock.

Workshop Standards

• Ensure all our machinery and equipment is maintained and cared for to ensure we can keep overachieving on our quality standards.
• Take pride in the their environment and be the lead in workshop cleanliness
• Conduct weekly stocktakes of tools and equipment to ensure we have sufficient sundries. Communicate effectively to re-order where necessary

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE FROM ME?

• 3-4 Years experience working in a fast paced workshop environment
• Experience training other jewellers and maintaining quality standards
• Able to work in all metals : Silver / All Golds
• Experience working with design teams to develop new product offerings.
• You radiate positivity & enthusiasm and inspire the people around you
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams at all levels
• You're always looking for a better way to do things and are naturally curious in everything you do and every conversation you have
