WHAT'S THE MISSION?

To drive the Product Development of our Merchandise and packaging categories, with innovation and cross functional collaboration at the forefront.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

• Work closely with the Senior PD Manager and HOP to implement merchandise category growth plans
• Continually scope new product opportunities and market trends to introduce an innovative merchandise assortment, utilising a strong understanding of the A&M brand and customer profile
• Take ownership of the critical path in order to manage the product journey from initial concept stage, to sampling and final product sign off
• Source, establish and develop strong relationships with supply partners
• Prepare detailed product specification packs with the assistance of the design team, and communicate these with our suppliers
• Efficiently negotiate cost prices and MOQ’s to achieve margin targets, whilst maintaining the design vision
• Align with our Production team throughout the Quality Control process to ensure A&M standards are adhered to
• Collaborate closely with our Marketing teams for cross functional product launches and brand activations
• Communicate and engage the wider business regarding new product launches
• Be responsible for the execution & delivery of A&M packaging - exploring new creative concepts whilst expanding and developing our existing packaging suite
• Liaise with our print design team throughout the packaging development process
• Collaborate on packaging cost & sourcing strategy
• Provide analytical support to the PD & Merchandising teams by evaluating, proposing, and implementing actions to maximise trading potential of your category, and to influence future product development and collections
• Support the development of the junior members of the Product team, guiding their growth, objectives, and departmental strategy

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE FROM ME?

• A passion and enthusiasm for the Astrid and Miyu brand and what we represent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 3+ Years experience as a Product Developer, Junior PD, Junior Buyer
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with Jewellery is well regarded but not essential
