What's the Mission?
To be an integral part of our payroll processes, ensuring effective and seamless management and system coordination to give our people at A&M the smoothest payroll journey possible.
What does success look like?
- All payroll information and funds are received within the agreed timeframes for both UK and international payrolls, ensuring no delays or errors.
- Commissions for retail team members are calculated accurately, aligning with performance metrics.
- Payroll reports are thoroughly reviewed to guarantee that salaries and adjustments are correct and accurately processed.
- Payroll journals are created and uploaded into the accounting system on time, ensuring smooth integration without discrepancies.
- Staff payroll queries related to monthly pay and commissions are resolved promptly, with clear and accurate communication.
- The source of truth for our HR platform, Hibob, is maintained, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Ad hoc payroll changes are communicated clearly and accurately to the payroll provider.
- Communication with staff regarding payroll matters, such as HMRC deductions, is handled efficiently and clearly.
- Pay change letters are issued on time and in compliance with company procedures.
- The onboarding and off-boarding processes are managed smoothly, with all necessary contracts and documentation completed accurately.

- A solid understanding of payroll processes, with the ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness for both UK and international payrolls.
- A strong attention to detail and proficiency in managing the payroll process from start to finish.
- Clear communication and organisational skills for conveying payroll changes to the payroll provider and team members.
- Problem-solving skills and confidence to ensure any payroll related queries are answered.
- You're always looking for a better way to do things and are naturally curious in everything you do and every conversation you have.
