What's the Mission?

To support the Product Development of our jewellery collections; through a truly creative approach, with innovation and cross-functional collaboration at the forefront, strong attention to detail and confident management of our critical path.

What does success look like?

• Work closely with the Design and Product Development team to support development of product ranges that reflect our brand’s handwriting.
• Contribute to all stages of the product development process; from initial trend research, to CAD & wax reviews, through to final sample approval.
• Effectively manage the critical path to ensure that all key sampling deadlines are met, escalating concerns to your channel lead when required.
• Manage and organise first look, final approval and brand samples in collaboration with PD Admin Assistant.
• Develop supplier relationships, leading with clear and consistent communication in order to keep timelines and expectations aligned throughout the development process.
• Support with preparation of meeting packs & documentation of meeting actions.
• Accurately input data into Range Plan and all relevant systems.
• Raise POs for distribution to suppliers and action any order amendments under direction from PD & Merchandising team.
• Collaborate throughout the Quality Control process to ensure A&M standards are adhered to.
• Present in Trade meetings with understanding of trading metrics.
• Regularly visit stores and lead effective information sharing cross-functionally.
• Develop strong relationships with our Merchandising team, supporting throughout the ranging and buy planning process.
• Be responsible for product styling for photoshoots, collaborating with our Creative Content team to deliver imagery which reflects our brand vision & identity, and clearly communicates product intentions.
• Provide support, feedback and coaching for the PD Admin Assistant.

What would you like from me?

• 1+ years experience as an Assistant PD or Assistant Buyer.
• You show passion and enthusiasm for the Astrid and Miyu brand and what we represent.
• You’re a strong communicator, skilled in building & cultivating relationships both internally and externally.
• You are driven to learn & grow; lead with curiosity and flexibility, are open to constructive feedback and confident to challenge our approach when necessary.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with Jewellery is a plus, but not essential.
